Best startups to watch in Da Nang
After nearly 5 years of laying solid foundations for its startup ecosystem, Da Nang has successfully implemented incubation programmes for many tech startups, and helped them build a strong network of customers across Viet Nam and the world at large.

Of special note, many Da Nang-developed startups have received timely support in terms of finance, technology standardisation, and the registration of intellectual property rights, from Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, hereby gaining a stronger foothold in the startup arena.
MultiGlass Vietnam
Among Da Nang best startups is the MultiGlass Vietnam which is developed by the Thanh Khe District-based Multi Vietnam Company.
The Multi Vietnam project features 3 separate versions of MultiGlass based on main technology platforms, namely IoT, iris recognition, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Products No 1 and 2 are exclusively for the disabled. Utilising version No 1, users can control the computer with their eyes and head gestures, whilst version No 2 allows users to control their household appliances thanks to IoT connection. Version No 3 targets more different users, including drivers.
The highly useful project was introduced in the 2019 ASEAN-China-UNDP Symposium.
MultiGlass Vietnam already took first place in the Pitching Competition - SURF 2019, the Innovative Technopreneur Contest 2019, and the ‘Entrepreneurs of 2018 - 2019’ organised by Total Group. Besides, the project won a second prize in Viet Nam's National Entrepreneurship Awards 2017, and it was listed in the ‘Viet Nam Golden Book of Creativity 2016”.
Notably, MultiGlass Vietnam presented Viet Nam in the Startup World Cup Grand Finale 2020 which has taken place in Hilton, San Francisco, and the U.S.
EasySalon
Developed by the Hai Chau-headquartered CTNET Company, EasySalon is a customer care and management software which is useful for beauty service providers, such as hair salons, spas and beauty salons.
The software will help beauty service providers manage service quality, and track their staff members and customers, and monitor their revenue.
In September 2019, EasySalon started to expand its consumer market to Ho Chi Minh City.
Early this year, the CTNET Company signed an agreement with the Ho Chi Minh- headquartered MobiFone Service Company Region 2 to export its EasySalon software abroad.
Under the agreement, the two companies will together develop projects to promote digitisation of the beauty industry in Viet Nam.
Mobifone will launch markerting campaigns and the sale of EasySalon software to help CTNET expand into global markets in the next 3 years.
Also during this year, the company has focused on expanding its consumer market in the Central and Southern Viet Nam in a bid to release its goal of becoming Viet Nam's best software solution for the beauty industry.
GreenBeli
Green Beli app allows users to find and evaluate environmentally-friendly locations across the city. Since it remained on the table, angel investors offered financial support of 1.7 billion VND.
The app offers many functions, including helping users connect with suppliers of green and environmentally-friendly products, and assess the environmentally-friendly level of cafes, restaurants, and public spaces citywide.
Also, the app provides users with environment-related information, and waste treatment and recycling experience.
Till date, Green Beli has attracted more than 20,000 users, most of them are in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.
