The Da Nang University of Science and Technology and the Ha Noi-based Hitachi Systems Vietnam Company, on Tuesday, signed a cooperative agreement on carrying out the ‘Digital Technology Laboratories’ project in Da Nang.

The purpose of the soon-to-be-deployed project aims to enhance the quality of training and scientific research activities amongst university lecturers.

Under the signed agreement, the Hitachi Systems Vietnam Company will propose necessary equipment and software for training activities, as well as provide active support for practical training, in such digital technology laboratories.

Besides, the company will donate transmission automation devices and software, copyright of the product lifecycle management software, and others to the university for the sake of effectively training the workforce for the currently burgeoning Industry 4.0.
