Simply put, instead of filling out health declaration forms as previously, those who enter or leave Da Nang have to declare their health status via online apps so that the municipal Health Department can find it easer to manage entries and exits for coronavirus preventive move.

In particular, before their planned arrivals in Da Nang, travellers must make medical declarations on the Danang SmartCity app, the Zalo of the city’s switchboard 1022 or at https://bcdh.danang.gov.vn/web/guest/khai-bao. Messages containing QR codes for official confirmation will be sent to them.

Afterwards, at the existing checkpoints set up at entrances to Da Nang, travellers must show the staff on duty there the QR codes to confirm their completed medical declarations. The QR codes will be scanned to see if they are still valid.

If online medical declarations have yet to be made, the functional forces on duty at the checkpoints are in charge of guiding the  travellers how to complete check-in/check-out procedure via the aforementioned apps.

Before leaving Da Nang, travellers are required to confirm the end to their stay period or extension registrations upon the receipt of text messages or phone calls requesting confirmation from the apps.

Currently, each checkpoint in Da Nang is equipped with two tablets for the public implementation of check-in/check-out procedures.

Besides, heed must be paid to using the highly convenient apps to manage those entering and exiting hospitals and district-level medical centres.
