Da Nang eyes to attract more visitors on educational school trips

A delegation of 20 representatives from hospitality management faculties at tertiary establishments based in Ha Noi and HCM City, and some senior high schools in other Vietnamese localities, are exploring Da Nang on a familiarisation (FAM) trip.

The event, running from April 14 to 17, aims to enable the famtrip visitors to survey the potential of popular attractions and tourism products across Da Nang, so that they can organise suitable tours to Da Nang and other central regional destinations for their university students and school pupils in the coming time.

During their three-day stay in Da Nang, the participants are scheduled to visit to such inviting places as Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, the Water Park 365 entertainment complex at the Da Nang – Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa, the Nam O Fish Sauce traditional village, the Dien Hai Citadel, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Asia Park, and the An Thuong tourist streets.

This reception of such a famtrip delegation is one of the major operations by Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre with the aim of attracting more arrivals who are university students and school pupils cross the whole Viet Nam, thus helping to drive the recovery of the tourism industry for the rest of this year.

Taking school trips, university students and school pupils have incredible opportunities to equip themselves with valuable knowledge and strengthen personal skills. Besides obtaining educational knowledge through travelling, they also have chances to meet new friends, exchange culture with local people, and explore their fascinating ways of life. School trips are amazing occasions for university students and school pupils to actively participate in various interactive activities and sightseeing field trips, company visits, and do some community helps.
