On October 23, a total of 30 candidates competed in the online Da Nang final round of the National English Contest for Vietnamese Students (Star Awards) 2021.

In the final round, the contestants were divided into 10 teams to compete in the rhetorical competitions.

In the end, the top 3 best students were selected to represent Da Nang at the final round of Star Awards 2021 which is slated to take place in November in Thua Thien Hue Province. Two of them were from the Da Nang University of Foreign Language Studies, whilst the one came from the Tay Nguyen (Central Highlands) University.

Initiated in 2015 by three main university clusters in Viet Nam, the Star Awards contest helps to create an English playground for university students nationwide, and increase their awareness about the importance of a foreign language in studying and their future career.
