Webinar 'Digital technology connects museums with the public' to take place on Oct.27
An online seminar, taking ‘Digital technology connects museums with the public’ as their theme will take place on October 27.
The event will be jointly organised by the museums of Da Nang and Cultures of Viet Nam's Ethnic Groups and museums in provinces and cities nationwide.
Operated in Vietnamese and English, the event will focus on 4 contents: presentation, online exhibitions, online arts performance, educational activities and experience.
In the current burgeoning Industry 4.0, the outbreak of COVID-19 has become a push to force museums to quickly change. Museums have been able to ride out several waves of the coronavirus through online exhibitions and exchanging up-to-date information with visitors through smartphones and social networks.
The upcoming seminar is highly expected to update information and share practical effects that digital technology brings to the conservation and publicity of cultural heritage at museums in Viet Nam.
Also, the event will offer an opportunity for museums, researchers, scholars throughout the country to exchange ideas and practical experiences in the application of digital technology in the field of conservation and cultural heritage.
