Duy Tan University celebrates its 27th founding anniversary
The Da Nang-based Duy Tan University, the largest private tertiary establishment in Central Viet Nam, on Thursday, celebrated its 27th anniversary and kicked off the school year 2021 - 2022 in a virtual form.
Founded on November 11, 1994 following the approval by the Prime Minister, the Duy Tan University is one of the first private universities in the country.
Duy Tan has established the schools of Medicine and Pharmacy, Foreign Languages, Technology, Computer Science and Economics, along with the training institutes of International Training, and Hospitality & Tourism.
Till date, this tertiary establishment has admitted a total of 124,000 students and trainees into 27 academic courses. There are six majors for the training of doctoral, 11 for master's and 44 for bachelor’s degrees.
Every year, more than 77,600 graduates from the school enter the labour market.
The university has ranked 107th in the 2022 Emerging Economies University rankings and made its way into the Top 500 best universities in the world according to Times Higher Education (THE) rankings in 2022.
