The University of Economics, a member school of the University of Da Nang has just granted a total amount of more than VND3.6 billion in support for 1,221 students whose families are stuck in difficulties triggered by COVID-19, with each receiving VND3 million.

Previously, each of the 1,011 disadvantaged students from this tertiary establishment had received an aid of VND500,000 during the practice of the ‘stay-at-home’ order applied to the entire local population in the previous times.

In addition, the university has regularly implemented supportive moves benefiting its needy students such as the reduction of tuition fees, the provisions of necessities and the granting of scholarships.
