Best conditions to be created to put students' startup projects into practice

On Saturday, the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology and the municipal Youth Union inked a cooperation agreement on promoting the capacity of youth union members and students in the fields of science and technology, creative research, and entrepreneurship.

Under the deal, the two sides will together organise training courses on enhancing the capacity of young people in scientific research and technology development and transfer, as well as promote innovative products and ideas made by local youth union members and students to businesses in need. Heed will be paid to creating more co-working spaces, and giving more active support for youth start-ups.

The cooperation programme will be implemented during the 2022-2025 period.

On the occasion, the organising board of the Da Nang Scientific Research Contest 2021 for Students awarded 2 first prizes, 2 second, 3 third and 7 consolation to best ideas with high applicability.

From the beginning of this year, the Da Nang Youth Union partnered with the municipal Department of Science and Technology to launch a Scientific Research Contest 2021 for Students across the city.

The contest attracted a total of 500 entries from the grassroots round, of which 150 best topics were selected for the city-level competition round in various fields such as healthcare, tourism, education, economy, science and technology, agriculture, and environment protection.
