Da Nang announces resumption of face-to-face classes for students in grades 1, 8 and 9 from Dec. 2
The Da Nang Department of Education and Training said on Wednesday, December 1, that more schools will hold face-to-face classes after the municipal government approved the proposal.
With the approval of the municipal administration, the Department is announcing that students in grades 1, 8 and 9 will be allowed to return to in-person classes from December 6.
The district-level offices of education and training will reassess the schools in their local areas in the terms of their readiness before December 5 in order to make sure that they are qualified to safely reopen and maintain the environment that are as safe as possible for its teachers and students during the school year.
However, primary schools will not offer day-boarding for year 1 pupils, and they will go to campus for half-day, in-person lessons next Monday in a bid to allow them to become acquainted with their classmates and their new school.
