Registration is now open for the Qualcomm Innovation Challenge Viet Nam 2022 which is sponsored by the USA-based Qualcomm Corporation with a total prize value of about US$375,000.

The programme aims to encourage Vietnamese startups to take advantage of Qualcomm's financial and technology support to create many inventions and initiatives for the startup community in Viet Nam, and in the world as a whole.

The preliminary rounds are scheduled to take place in January 2022. From these applications, a short list of 10 companies will be given financial benefits of US$ 10,000 each, and invited for months of technical and business incubation.

Finally, a jury will select the top three companies who will receive cash prizes of 100,000 USD, 75,000 USD or 50,000 USD respectively, and post-Challenge support from Qualcomm Technologies.

In addition, Qualcomm will support US$5,000 for any companies having their patent applications filed at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or the Viet Nam Intellectual Property Office.
