The ‘Using microalgae to treat aquatic wastewater’ project developed by a group of talented students from the Da Nang University of Technology has just won the first prize at the ‘Light up your creativity 2021’ contest.

Held by the Da Nang Youth Union on Saturday, ‘Light up your creativity’ was within the framework of the Startup Innovation Festival 2021 at the Dong A University on the same day.

The contest was open to students and young people under 30 who are living, studying and working in Da Nang, as well as Vietnamese students studying in Austria and the Republic of Korea.

The preliminary round saw the participation of more than 60 projects, ten of which were selected to advance to the final round.

The project ‘The research and application of Otaheite gooseberry in food production’ developed by a group of students from the Da Nang University of Economics achieve the second prize.

The third prize went to the ‘Robot helps implement medical declaration at quarantine checkpoints’ project.
