The Da Nang Hi-tech Park General Service Centre (DSC) said on Tuesday that it is carrying out its 2nd high-tech business incubation programme for 4 elite startup projects selected in 2021.

Previously, DSC held a ceremony to grant certifications for three outstanding projects which had completed their incubation journeys in the Da Nang Hi-tech Park in early December, 2021.

These selected projects are HiTrade, waste solar battery recycling, seaweed genome research and conservation, and Shipway.

Specifically, HiTrade is a commodity trading application to help connect between manufacturers and buyers. Approved by the Viet Nam Commodity Exchange under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the app allows inter-connection with price data around the world.

The waste solar battery recycling project aims to break down the components of the solar panels to reuse the materials for other production purposes.

Shipway is a mobile technology application connecting goods owners and transport vehicle owners.

The seaweed genome conservation, development and research project is to replace the traditional vegetative propagation technology with a seaweed tissue culture technology.

Under the incubation programme, the aforementioned selected projects will receive comprehensive support from DSC, including working and production premises, training courses, legal support, and ways to connect with investment funds and other resources to produce products and bring them closer to customers.
