Strictest health measures are being put in place at these schools in order to keep them open during the pandemic. The focus is on using lane separations for students at entry and exit points in a bid to limit crowding at these areas in addition to putting in place other precautionary measures such as conducting body temperature checks on students and asking them to disinfect their hands before entering the class. Preschoolers and primary school pupils were welcomed at school gates by their teachers while their parents were not allowed to enter the school in an attempt to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

On Monday, about 60% of Da Nang’s primary school pupils returned to face-to-face learning while less than 50% of the city’s preschoolers joined the class. More preschools in the city will come back on February 28.
