Digital transformation and digital skills for students
As many as 100 Youth Union members, along with university and junior college students, across Da Nang, on Thursday, took part in a forum entitled ‘Digital transformation and digital skills for students’.
Co-hosted by the Da Nang Youth Union and the municipal Department of Science and Technology, the event provided the participants with general information about digital transformation and challenges facing young people in the digital transformation process.
Through the event, students were aware of the great importance of taking the initiative to conduct research and grasp the necessary knowledge and skills, building the ability to work independently and effectively in groups, and promoting the effective use of information in life.
On the occasion, the municipal Youth Union and the municipal Department of Science and Technology launched the Scientific Research Contest 2022 for Students.
The contest aims to seek best ideas to help Da Nang develop itself into a more modern and smarter city in Viet Nam.
Under the contest’s rules, entries are required to ensure the honesty in scientific research activities, and not win any awards at previous municipal-level scientific research contests.
The evaluation of entries is based on main criteria: creativity, research methods, high practicality, economic efficiency, and forms of presentation. In addition, any entry with attached models and real products will be added more points.
Despite the impact of COVID-19, the Scientific Research Contest 2021 for Students attracted more than 500 entries, many of which have been effectively brought to fruition.
