The France-Viet Nam Cultural Exchange Festival 2022 took place in Da Nang last weekend.

Co-organised by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations, the city branch of the France - Viet Nam Friendship Association, the Da Nang University of Foreign Language Studies, and other units, the 2-day event featured a wide range of fascinating cultural exchange activities, including Francophone football tournament, ‘Ring the golden bell’ contest, Olympiades, a drawing contest, and French food stalls.

At the closing and awards ceremony for the festival held on Sunday, the organisers awarded first, second, third and consolation prizes to outstanding students citywide who participated in exchange activities during the 2-day festival.

The annual France-Viet Nam Cultural Exchange Festival 2022 provides a good opportunity for local students to learn more about the culture of France, and join in exciting cultural exchange activities. This signficantly contributed to promoting the movement of learning French in the city, and deepening the traditional friendship and strategic cooperation between Viet Nam and France.

According to the Da Nang branch of the France - Viet Nam Friendship Association, an array of exchange activities and programmes between the two countries are scheduled to take place in the city in 2022.

Included will be a signing ceremony on coordination regulations in the implementation of cultural exchange activities, the 8^th Francophone Singing Festival in Central Viet Nam and Central Higlands regions, and a get-together for French expats in the city on the occasion of France's National Day.
