More than 400 candidates for Young Informatics exam in Central Viet Nam

The Viet Nam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Centre for Development of Science, Technology and Young Talents have jointly organised the Central Viet Nam round of the 28th National Youth Informatics Contest and the Innovation - Technology Festival in 2022.

The event attracted more than 400 contestants from 17 provinces and cities in the Central Viet Nam and- Central Highlands regions.

The contestants competed in 6 groups including: Group A with programming skills test for elementary students; Group B programming skills test for junior high school students; Group C1 programming exam for gifted senior high school students; Group C2 programming exam for non-specialized senior high school students; Group D2 creative product contest for junior high school students; Group D3 creative product contest for senior high school students.

The contest will select in each group the best contestants and teams with the most outstanding products to compete in the national final round next August.

Within the framework of the programme, the Innovation - Technology festival in 2022 attracted 300 contestants in activities including the exhibition ‘Creative products for students’; Robotics competition table R1 for primary school students, R2 for junior high school ones; STEAM experiential activities; learning models of space science and the talk show “Digital baggage”.
