A number of primary schools in Da Nang welcomed their 1^st graders on Thursday morning, two weeks ahead of the beginning of the new 2022-2023 academic year.

In the first day of school, 1^st graders mainly had their first experiences of life in the classroom such as getting used to greetings, queuing, and using personal school and classroom supplies. This helped them get acquainted with teachers and friends, creating the best mood and habits to enter the new school year.

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a time frame for the 2022-2023 school year, in which first graders return to school as early as August 24 and other grades on August 29. The opening ceremony of the new school year will be held on September 5 as usual.

The first semester will complete by January 15, 2023 and the second semester before May 25, 2023.

The consideration and recognition of completion of the primary school programme and the completion of secondary school graduation must be completed before June 30, 2023. Enrollment for the first classes will be completed before July 31, 2023.
