During his working sessions with the two Da Nang-based businesses, Deputy Minister Giang highly praised their great efforts and impressive results in research and application of science and technology in production and business activities.
Thanks to their innovation initiatives, the two businesses have constantly improved the quality of their services and products, and affirmed their prestige in the market, thereby contributing to promoting the research movement and the application of science and technology in production activities at State-owned and private enterprises in the city.
When meeting with Deputy Minister Giang, representatives from the two enterprises presented some problems as putting their scientific research into practice. Particularly, they have not yet exploited the benefits from the city’s Science and Technology Development Fund and have not yet grasped the process of industrial intellectual property protection.
The enterprises also proposed that central authorities at all levels issue a number of mechanisms and policies related to electricity saving, which was considered as a basis for the electricity industry to have reasonable initiatives in the inspection and monitoring of customers’ energy saving.
It was necessary to increase the content of localisation in important national projects so that domestic enterprises have the opportunity to participate deeply in the implementation process, added they.

He also asked businesses to further promote research and application of science and technology in production and business activities, as well as actively coordinate with functional agencies to effectively exploit funding sources from the municipal Science and Technology Development Fund.
He affirmed that the Ministry of Science and Technology will have opinions and made proposals to the Central Government to issue new and appropriate policies and mechanisms with the aim of boosting scientific research and digital transformation movements across the country.
