Results of Best Website Design Contest 2022's grand final released

The Viet Nam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), a school member of the University of Da Nang (UD) has recently held the final of the 4th Best Website Design (BWD 2022) contest The competition was organised with 2 tournaments, namely BWD (for first year students only) and SUPER BWD (for 2nd year students and above that have won prizes in previous seasons).

The contest ran from May 28 till September 10. In detail, the BWD tournament attracted nearly 300 teams with a combined total of more than 900 participating students and the SUPER BWD tournament lured 17 teams with a total of 50 students from many universities in the Central Viet Nam - Central Highlands regions.

Through 2 preliminary rounds, the BWD 2022 Competition selected 10 excellent teams in BWD tournament and 3 ones in SUPER BWD tournament to enter the final round.

The teams continued to apply their skills and knowledge to create website products with aesthetic, harmonious colours, and high applicability. The ideas submitted to the final round were highly appreciated such as charity donation, environmental protection, animal protection, COVID-19 vaccine vaccination process, travel, shopping and food.

In the end, the Never Give Up team won the first prize in the BWD tournament with a website product about the Covid-19 vaccine vaccination process whilst the Mao Mao team grasped the first prize in the SUPER BWD tournament for the Us Love about wildlife protection.

In addition, second, third and consolation prizes were presented to other quality products in the BWD and SUPER BWD tournament.

The contest served as an academic playground to give students a practical approach and apply the knowledge they have learned to design creative and useful websites.
