Within the framework of the opening ceremony of the Da Nang Startup and Innovation Festival - SURF 2022 on Friday morning, the municipal Department of Science and Technology officially launched a network of startup experts and investors, and a innovation space in the city.

Accordingly, the network of startup experts and investors, and an innovation space in Da Nang was established in order to promote linkages between startup ecosystems in the Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions, as well as access to national and international experts, capital and technological resources.

In addition, the network will join efforts with the municipal government to support and train innovative start-up projects or to develop enterprises into science and technology ones, thereby creating a driving force for the development of 4.0 science and technology resources for the city.

Immediately after the launch ceremony, elements in the city's innovation startup ecosystem signed innovation startup cooperation agreements.

Specifically, the municipal Department of Science and Technology and the city branch of the Viet Nam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a cooperation agreement to promote the application of 4.0 technologies in developing innovative startups.

Meanwhile, the Da Nang Youth Union and the Dong A University together inked an agreement to carry out innovation startup movements in the city, with a focus on creating a wave of innovative start-ups among young people and students in order to boost the development of the city’s innovative startup ecosystem in the future.
