Seminar spotlights job opportunities in Japan for Da Nang students
The University of Da Nang in collaboration with Japan’s Yokohama City and some Japanese businesses organized a seminar on Tuesday to introduce local students the living and working environment in Yokohama.
During the event, participating students had the opportunity to meet and exchange in forms of face-to-face and online with foreign and Vietnamese experts living and working in Yokohama, and Vietnamese engineers working at Da Nang-based Japanese companies. Thanks to this, they grasped the studying and working opportunities and needs in Yokohama City.
The seminar was as part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Viet Nam - Japan diplomatic ties (1973-2023), and to kick start the cooperation between Yokohama City and the University of Da Nang towards the signing of a memorandum of understanding between two parties.
For many years, thanks to the special attention and direction of Da Nang and Yokohama authorities, the University of Da Nang and the Yokohama National University have had a sustainable cooperation.
Since the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the first time in 2011, they have jointly implemented many meaningful cooperation activities, such as training courses and scientific seminars in the fields of construction, bridges and roads, as well as official and lecturer exchange activities.
