The Da Nang-based Dong A University held a ceremony on Thursday to give bachelor's degrees to its students.

Accordingly, bachelor's degrees in nursing were conferred on 21 students who have already completed the one-year internship programme at the Aijinkai Social Health Group. Among them, 13 received decisions to work long-term at the Aijinkai Social Health Group.

On the occasion, the Aijinkai Group granted 30 scholarships, totalling VND300 million, to poor nursing students.

The cooperation programme between the Dong A University and the Aijinkai Social Health Group was signed in 2019.

Currently, 27 nursing graduates from the university are working in Japan while more than 80 others will be sent to Japan for participating in internship programmes in 2023 and 2024.

In recent years, the university has worked with 8 provinces and cities and over 130 business partners in Japan according to a long-term career development roadmap for students, aiming to realise its goal of 1,000 students from all disciplines to come to Japan for internship and working every year, starting from 2025.
