After graduation in 2012, Vien applied to the University of Economics with the desire to become a lecturer to satisfy his childhood passion to stand on the podium.

In addition to teaching, the young lecturer is assigned to be in charge of the Youth Union's activities of the Faculty.

Over the past years, Vien, along with his colleagues and students, have raised funds and presented gifts to children and people in difficult circumstances in remote areas.

According to Vien, the teaching process not only imparts knowledge but also cultivates personality and compassion for a whole generation. And, the best way to do that is to start from specific activities such as charity trips.

Vien always finds new ways to convey knowledge in the richest and most vivid way.

As for Mr. Vien, the progress or simply seeing the excitement in the eyes of his students at each lesson also makes him happy and becomes the motivation for him to continue to stick with the job he has chosen.

Each of his lectures is always an innovation, from approach to presentation of content on slides. Not satisfied with the existing knowledge, he always self-improves his professional knowledge and regularly updates his skills to be able to convey to students effectively.

Vien confided "Students have no interest in learning or feel boring with lectures are what I fear the most. Therefore, in each lecture, I try to create excitement and attraction for students".

By 2030, Da Nang targets to become a centre of high-quality tourism and services, and an innovative destination in Viet Nam and Southeast Asia. Therefore, according to Mr. Vien, the city urgently needs high-quality and skilled human resources in a bid to realise the target.

He also highlighted the significance of human resources working in the hospitality industry to make Da Nang an attractive and safe destination for tourists.

For students with difficult circumstances, he enthusiastically guides them to apply for scholarships. He also well works with the university’s Information and Communication Technology Centre to promote the image and brand of the faculty and the university.
