Held from April 17 - 21, the event was jointly co-organised by the University of Da Nang (UDN), the WSB University in Poland, the Stuttgart University of Communication in Germany, and the Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania.
Over the past years, the UDN has promoted international training programmes, creating a highly internationalised environment in order to meet the needs of integration and training international students.
Therefore, the workshop has a strategic significance in the university’s new development phase, promoting integration and internationalisation of higher education, and attracting more international students to continue to improve the prestige and international position of the UDN and its member schools. This will greatly contribute to improving the quality assessment and ranking indicators in the context of the requirements of integration and internationalisation of higher education.
During the event, the participants discussed some key issues about how to attract international students such as international students and the potential of international project cooperation, aiming to boost connection and sustainable development of all partners participating in the HEIsCITI Project - the European Union-funded international online project without borders.
Moreover, discussions focused on innovating teaching methods; sharing the task of training human resources for Laos and Cambodia under the scholarship of the Da Nang People's Committee; and highlighting the role of the UDN Campus in Kon Tum in training, fostering research and consulting on a large scale and reputation in the Central Highlands region, East-West economic corridor and the Development Triangle Area of Viet Nam - Laos - Cambodia.
The 5-day workshop is part of the EU-funded HEIsCITI project which pays special attention to the innovation and dissemination of mass curricula, including teaching methods and tools for all types of university level training. The purpose of the project is to improve the quality of teaching for students and trainees for the sake of integration and sustainable urban development in the post-Covid-19 era.
