On Wednesday, the Da Nang Department of Education and Training and the Da Nang Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT Da Nang) signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation in the 2023-2028 period.

Accordingly, VNPT Da Nang will support the municipal Department of Education and Training to develop policies on digital transformation, organise activities to promote digital transformation in the field of education, and foster skills in information technology application and digital transformation for educational institutions, teachers, educational administrators, pupils and students.

At the same time, VNPT Da Nang will continue applying information technology and boosting digital transformation in educational management, synchronising the database from the student management system, and supporting the application of digital technology in school administration in teaching and learning activities.

Besides, VNPT Da Nang will deploy solutions to ensure information security, and raise awareness and improve technology skills for a specialised team to avoid the risks of information insecurity.

Importance will be attached to implementing incentive programmes for pupils, students, cadres and civil servants with the aim of serving digital transformation in teaching and learning management.

To mark this occasion, VNPT Da Nang donated VND100 million to the Political Education and Student Affairs Office under the municipal Department of Education and Training, and the district-level offices of Education and Training, to reward for students with excellent achievements in the 2022-2023 academic year.
