As reported by Mr. Nguyen Duc Son, the Head of Representative Office of Bravo Software JSC in Da Nang, along with efforts to develop domestic business, technology enterprises always want to conquer foreign markets.

His own business is increasing investment, cooperation and exchanges with foreign associations and businesses to open up new directions and promote future operation plans.

The selected countries are Singapore, Japan, South Korea and India because cooperation with countries with rich experience in technology will create a solid momentum for businesses to promote their strengths and overcome limitations.

Although it was only established at the end of 2022, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh's TMT Digital Software Co., Ltd. has received a lot of attention from foreign businesses thanks to the product ‘Software to support businesses in digital transformation’. Thanks to this, the business receives an investment from an angel investor abroad to serve the expansion of the business scale and personnel development to implement large projects.

The TMT Digital Software Co., Ltd has created a position with a number of software products in support for businesses, which are known by many foreign investors. To do that, this company has participated in many contests, display products at international events on IT.

"Cooperation with foreign organisations and enterprises can help businesses access new technologies and larger markets,”, said Thanh.

Dang Ngoc Hai, the General Secretary of the Da Nang Software Business Association, said that, in recent years, tech enterprises in the city have focused on building brands in order to export products to foreign countries, creating a great driving force for the vibrantly competitive tech market.

Pham Kim Son, the Chairman of the Da Nang Software Business Association, said that the city's tech enterprises have many opportunities and great advantages in terms of human resources and competition in price and quality. 

However, many enterprises have only set short and medium-term goals, making strategic thinking only encapsulated in domestic development orientation, forgetting that parallel development in the international market will be a great advantage.

Enterprises need to promote cooperation with foreign enterprises, as well as access new and advanced technologies, thereby selecting appropriate factors to promote according to strengths.

“Many tech businesses are particularly interested in penetrating international markets, with regions like Southeast Asia, the US and Europe being priority ones. The association will organise many events and seminars that act as a bridge for tech businesses across the city to access investment funds, organisations and foreign businesses, thereby creating a driving force for the IT industry to advance further in the international arena”, said Mr. Son.

Nguyen Quang Thanh, the Director of the Da Nang Department of Information and Communications, the city currently has more than 1,900 businesses operating in the IT field. The number of digital technology human resources in the city is currently about 46,500 people, and it is likely to increase sharply in the coming years.

In 2022, the whole industry’s software export turnover has increased by 34% from 2021, contributing a high proportion in promoting the development of the whole industry.

Currently, the city is implementing projects such as a smart city building project; a digital transformation scheme; plans to build IT human resources to beef up business investment attraction, a step to make Da Nang an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors, startups and businesses.
