Ready to respond to any mobile network incidents during DIFF 2023
In a bid to avoid local network congestion in crowded areas during the performance nights of the ongoing Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023, telecommunications units across the city have focused on upgrading configurations, increasing mobile base stations and assigning amore technical staff to the scene to satisfy growing demand of internet users.

The MobiFone Service Company in Region 3, a branch of the MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation has upgraded the configuration of the existing 45 Base Transceiver Stations (BTSs) and install 15 new ones.
In a similar vein, Viettel Da Nang has installed a new BTSs, prepare mobile BTS vehicle, free wifi transmitters and other related devices and equipment.
Likewise, VNPT Da Nang has completed the installationof 6 cells 4G and Twinbeam antennas for 4 3G/4G stations in areas that have recorded high traffic during fireworks nights in the previous years to ensure the avoidance of congestion and smooth flow of traffic, along with the installation of 5 Remote Sector 3G/4G stations at viewing stands.

At the same time, 4 more 3G/4G mobile stations have been installed in areas with a large number of subscribers such as the intersection of Tran Hung Dao and Nguyen Si Co streets, the Da Nang General Science Library and Nhu Nguyet Street.
Also, VNPT Da Nang has ensured 5G service provision in Da Nang with the scale of 5 5G stations near Rong (Dragon) Bridge, Bach Dang Street, Tran Hung Dao Street, APEC Statue Park, and fireworks viewing stands.
The telecommunications units all confirmed that they have completed the work to ensure the smooth provision of internet services during DIFF 2023.
