University of Da Nang transfers and applies scientific research products
On Wednesday, the University of Da Nang held a ceremony to review science and technology activities in the 2022-2023 academic year and identify work orientations for the 2023-2024 school year.
Last year, the University of Da Nang and its member universities and affiliated units gained numerous results in scientific research and innovation activities.
Specifically, the focus was on implementing more than 100 scientific research projects at all levels, and publishing more than 500 scientific articles in prestigious international journals such as WoS and Scopus, up 8% over the previous year.
The level of scientific influence shown by the citation indexes on Google Scholar and H-Index has increased nearly 2 times.
Also, importance was attached to transferring and applying research results and products to localities, businesses and serving the community with a total budget of nearly VND70 billion.
The University of Da Nang has a total of 113 professors/ associate professors; 743 doctors, doctors of science; more than 1,100 Master's degree holders involving scientific research activities at universities, institutes and centers; and more than 30 research groups.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, the University of Da Nang will strengthen international scientific publications, and at the same time promote applied research, in order to meet the development requirements of the localities, the region and the country.
On the occasion, the university presented Certificates of Merit to 7 typical individuals for scientific publication in 2022; 3 typical individuals for applied research in 2022; and 65 individuals for excellent results in scientific publications in prestigious international journals.
