The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology has recently held a preliminary round of the Da Nang Innovation Startup Contest 2023.

The event was part of a series of activities of the Innovation Startup Festival - SURF 2023, aiming to find new startup projects, encouraging innovation and creativity in the community, thereby building a favourable startup environment in Da Nang through financial, technical and resource support for successful startup projects; creating economic values, contributing to the city’s sustainable development.

Under the competition’s rules, about 20 potential and innovative startup projects have been selected for the preliminary round such as Wetex, a global fashion supply chain management platform; Viet Nam Travel Bus, connecting multiple means of passenger transport; Active prosthetic legs for people with disabilities; Smart locker system at the beach; VrMall and the VR360 ecosystem.

After the preliminary round, 10 projects will selected to participate in the final round that is slated to take  on September 20.
