Accordingly, the agency has just updated the real-time rainfall and flood monitoring system in the service of State management and direction during the rainy, storm and flood seasons.

In particular, residents and visitors can check the status of rainfall and flood at the ‘Rainfall and flood levels’ column that has been integrated on the Danang Smart City app. They can monitor rainfall at 44 rain gauge stations and about 400 potentially flooded points in order to be proactive in travelling and responding.

Additionally, they can send the flood levels at their locations to the application to share and provide more information for others; send an emergency rescue request to the authorities; and check information on more than 1,000 evacuation houses and emergency phone numbers.

As for administrators, they can visit https://muangap.danang.gov.vn/dashboard to receive emergency rescue requests from local residents in order for proactive support.

The municipal Department of Information and Communications encourages people to update information about rainfall and flooding points across the city so that management agencies can promptly update and have support plans.
