In response to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), the VNPT Da Nang Business Center has just coordinated with the People's Committee of Thac Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District, to organise a propaganda conference and issue free digital signatures to people in the locality in order to carry out administrative procedures and electronic transactions.

Accordingly, nearly 100 residents of Thac Gian Ward, including executive board of residential groups, and representatives from community digital technology groups, and women's association, were supported by staff of the VNPT Da Nang Business Center with free installation and instructions for using digital signatures when performing administrative procedures and public services in the city.

A representative of the VNPT Da Nang Business Center shared that digital signatures are used to perform electronic transactions on public service portal and electronic one-stop platforms; personal authentication in stock and banking transactions; and digital signatures in electronic contract transactions and labour contracts.

The use of digital signatures to carry out administrative procedures and electronic transactions helps save maximum time and travel, waiting and printing costs, contributing to forming a digital citizen.

Previously, the People's Committee of Thac Gian Ward deployed digital signature installation for 100% of ward civil servants.
