The handover ceremony was jointly organised by the Coca-Cola Foundation, the global philanthropic arm of the Coca-Cola Company, the Da Nang Department of Education and Training and the Center for Consultancy on Family Health and Community Development (also known as CFC).
This brought the total number of water filtration systems provided by the “Clean Drinking Water for Vietnamese Schools” project in Da Nang to 39, with a total grant of more than VND12 million.
The recipients are the senior high schools of Huynh Thuc Khang, Do Dang Tuyen, Phan Dinh Phung, Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Duy Hieu, Chu Van An, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Tran Dai Nghia, Phan Boi Chau and Nguyen Khuyen.
Along with donating tap water filtration systems to schools, the abovementioned units launched the "Water Buddy" contest to all students and teachers of the 11 project schools in 2024. The contest is an interactive playground that promises to stimulate new initiatives surrounding the issue of clean water.
