The Kenan Foundation Asia in Thailand and the Diageo Vietnam launched the Learning for Life project at the Da Nang Tourism College on Sunday.

During the 2024-2025 period, more than 200 final-year students of the Da Nang Tourism College will participate in training courses on bartending skills, skills for restaurant employees, and other essential soft skills such as digital literacy, leadership, collaboration, creativity, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and job readiness.

At the same time, the students will get internships and have job opportunities at businesses and companies associated with the project.

In the final phase of the project, the Kenan Foundation Asia and the Diageo Vietnam will jointly organise a career fair to connect project graduates with potential employers in the field of tourism and hospitality.

The project is being implemented for the second year in Viet Nam and for the first time in Da Nang. Its intention is to enhance professional knowledge and soft skills for students of tourism and hotel vocational schools, as well as positively contribute to improving the quality of Viet Nam's tourism industry in general and Da Nang’s in particular.
