Talented students from the University of Science and Technology, a member school of the University of Da Nang have won one second and one third prizes in at a competition within the framework of the series of the IEEE International Conference on Connected Innovation and Technology X.O (ICCIT X.O-2024) and the Smart Healthcare International Conference (SheIC-2024).

The event was jointly organized by The University of Technology of Troyes in France, the Rabat National Higher University of Arts and Sciences in Morocco, the Da Nang University of Science and Technology and the European Hospital of Marseille in France.

The competition witnessed the participation of 40 teams from universities in many countries such as France, Canada, Spain, Sweden, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Togo and Viet Nam.

Two excellent teams from the Da Nang University of Science and Technology entered the top 5 finals. Encouragingly, one with the ‘Application of Lora in IoT System Ensuring Power Quality’ entry won a second prize worth of € 2,000 whilst the other received an reward of € 1,000 for the  ‘IoT Flood-Water Measurement System for Urban Areas in Viet Nam’.
