Twenty eight winners of ‘Da Nang Reading Culture Ambassador’ and ‘Da Nang Reading Culture’ awards were announced by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports on Tuesday.

Specifically, four excellent contestants won the ‘Da Nang Reading Culture Ambassador’ awards. They were Tran Dinh Vi Khanh and Quach Hoa Tri from the FPT Schools System, Ngo Thi Phuong Dung from the Le Do Junior High School in Son Tra District, and Doan Tri Hung from the Nguyen Thi Dinh Junior High School in Cam Le District.

In the ‘Da Nang Reading Culture’ award category, Thanh Khe District had a large number of winners with 11 out of the 24 pupils, accounting for nearly 50% of the total number of prizes.

This year, the FPT Schools System, Hoa Lu Primary School and Le Do Junior High School had the most prize winners. Meanwhile, three schools with the most contestants were Nguyen Tri Phuong and Pham Hong Thai Primary Schools, and Huynh Thuc Khang Junior High School.

The closing and awards ceremony for the 2024 Da Nang Reading Culture Ambassador Contest is scheduled to take place in October 2024 at the city’s General Science Library.

In addition, the contest’s organisers will send 6 most outstanding entries to participate in the final round of the National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest.
