Accordingly, the CDA programme in Viet Nam is built in accordance with the Government's National Digital Transformation programme until 2025, with a vision to 2030, with the goal of improving the country's technological capacity.

The CDA programme in Viet Nam focuses on promoting economic growth, technological innovation and the ability to respond to cybersecurity-related issues through upgrading the country's information and communications infrastructure. Specifically, heed will be on three main pillars: infrastructure, enterprises, and public sector.

As for infrastructure, Cisco will cooperate with domestic telecommunications service providers to develop 5G network, while equipping them with the necessary skills in network development and innovation.

In terms of business, Cisco will equip the financial services and manufacturing industries with leading technologies, and invest in the development of advanced digital solutions to promote digital transformation.

In the public sector, Cisco will work with State agencies to enhance national digital infrastructure for the national government. Initiatives in this pillar will support the establishment of digital government, improve urban management and promote inclusive community development.

It is known that the CDA programme is being deployed by Cisco in 50 countries worldwide. In Viet Nam, Cisco has supported the training of more than 90,000 students since it began establishing partnerships with 30 higher education institutions across the country since.
