Over 13,000 candidates complete procedures for senior high school graduation exam

More than 13,000 candidates across Da Nang, on Wednesday afternoon, came to exam sites to complete procedures for the senior high school graduation exam which will start on Thursday.

The candidates listened to the exam regulations, checked their information and corrected any errors.

At the exam procedure session, the invigilators also again informed the candidates about the exam schedule and the items not allowed into the exam room.

Banned items include alcoholic drinks, explosive and incendiary weapons and substances; communication devices that can receive or broadcast information, record audio and video, or devices containing information that could assist pupils to cheat.

If a candidate violates the regulation and brings one of the prohibited items, they will be suspended from the exam, which means they will get a score of zero on that subject and will not be able to take the next subject.

According to statistics from the Da Nang Department of Education and Training, a total of 13,561 candidates registered to take the exam this year at 28 official exam places.

On Thursday morning, the candidates will take the literature test and then the mathematics in the afternoon.

On Friday morning, students will take one of two combined tests: natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) and social sciences (history, geography, citizenship education). In the afternoon, they will take a foreign language test.
