The University of Economics, a member school of the University Da Nang (UD) recently organised the 9th international conference on accounting and finance (ICOAF-2024). The conference attracted 100 researchers, scholars, experts and policy makers from domestic and international universities, including two leading experts in the field of finance and accounting, namely Professor Cameron Truong from the Monash University (Australia) and Professor Ian Pay from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

At the event, experts exchanged and discussed the latest innovations, trends, prospects and concerns in the fields of finance and accounting, especially sustainable finance solutions. The content revolved around topics such as corporate policies to respond to climate change risks; explore ESG (environmental, social and governance), CSR (corporate social responsibility) and sustainable practices; green bonds, carbon credits and sustainable finance instruments; dynamics of green financial markets; the company's strategy in adapting to changes in environmental policy; investment in research and development (R&D) and its role in promoting green innovation.
