A total of 43 junior and senior high school pupils in Da Nang were honoured with the 26^th Huynh Thuc Khang Talent Encouragement Awards.

The honouring ceremony was co-organised on Friday by the municipal Department of Education and Training and the city’s Study Encouragement Association.

The honourees were pupils who achieved good study results and top prizes at the municipal-level competitions for excellent students in the 2023-2024 academic year. They received cash rewards of about VND150 million in total which was funded by the Da Nang Imexpharm Pharmaceutical JSC.

The Huynh Thuc Khang Talent Encouragement Award was established by the Da Nang Study Encouragement Association during the 1998-1999 academic year. This award is for junior and senior high school pupils who have achieved excellent results in academic performance, and have won prizes in competitions for excellent pupils at the municipal and national levels.
