Da Nang was honoured with the award in the category of ‘Top typical organisations/localities actively implementing Industry 4.0 and digital transformation” as announced at the awards ceremony of the ‘I4.0 Awards’ 2024 in the capital city of Ha Noi on Friday.

The awards ceremony was held by the Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Viet Nam Automation Association and the Institute of Digital Transformation and Innovation.

Da Nang has been one of 6 organisations/localities awarded in the category "Top typical organisations/localities actively implementing the Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. This is the third time in a row that Da Nang has been honoured with the ‘I4.0 Awards’.

The "I4.0 Awards" programme is deployed nationwide with the aim of honouring and recognising typical and pioneering successes in the development of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and digital transformation in the State administrative sector; as well as the development of manufacturing enterprises, supply and demand connection activities for digital technology solutions, and building and developing smart manufacturing.

At the same time, it creates a playground for Vietnamese enterprises to have the opportunity to exchange, learn about, and share experiences in implementing smart factory solutions, digital factories, smart manufacturing, researching and implementing scientific and technological initiatives, and improving product quality and productivity, and business management capacity.

With the "I4.0 Awards", Da Nang contributes to spreading its outstanding results in the implementation of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and digital transformation, as well as encouraging local agencies, localities, businesses and people to effectively carry out digital transformation tasks in the coming time.
