Scholarships given to 100 Quang Nam, Da Nang freshmen
The “Giving strength to school” scholarships were given to 100 freshmen in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province at a ceremony held in Hoi An City on Friday.

Each scholarship is worth VND 15 million in cash, including 2 special ones worth VND 50 million/4-year scholarship. The total scholarship funding is more than VND 1.5 billion sponsored by the Quang Nam - Da Nang “Giving strength to school” Club.
Apart from giving scholarships, many members of the club also adopt, support living and transportation expenses, and provide jobs for first-year students away from home.
Also at the ceremony, the Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. presented gifts to the scholarship recipients. Meanwhile, the Vinacam Study Promotion Fund of the Vinacam Group Joint Stock Company gave 3 laptops to students with special difficulties who lack learning equipment.
The activity is as part of the "Vi Ngay Mai Phat Trien” (For Tomorrow's Development) programme initiated by Tuoi Tre newspaper. This year, the programme expects to award scholarships to more than 1,100 freshment in difficult circumstances nationwide with a total budget of more than VND 20 billion.
