32 contestants compete in final round of National Chinese Speech Contest
Thirty-two contestants from 17 provinces and cities nationwide competed in the final round of the National Chinese Speech Contest 2024 held in Da Nang on Saturday.

The event was jointly organized by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations, the Chinese Consulate General in the city, and some relevant units.
After nearly 2 months of launching, the contest’s organisers received more than 250 quality entries from 40 universities, academies, and Chinese language centres in 18 provinces and centrally-governed cities. After two preliminary rounds, the 32 best contestants from 17 provinces and cities entered the final round in Da Nang.
With the theme “The role of the young generation of Viet Nam in promoting the Viet Nam-China friendship”, the finalists competed in the categories of eloquence, talent performance, and top 9 final question-and-answer round.
The organisers awarded 1 first, 3 second, 5 third and 23 consolation prizes to the outstanding contestants. In addition, the “Most impressive talent performance” and “Most impressive preliminary video clip” awards were presented.
