The event aimed to innovate and enhance efforts in promoting, disseminating, and educating traffic safety regulations in the city, particularly for senior high school pupils. It focused on the Road Traffic Safety Law and the Road Law, which will come into effect on January 1, 2025. The competition drew 28 teams, representing 28 senior high schools across the city. Each team comprised five pupils, with four competing officially and one as a reserve.

In his opening speech, Mr Bui Hong Trung, Director of the Da Nang Department of Transport, emphasised that the competition provides pupils with knowledge about legal compliance and skills for safe participation in traffic, aiming to increase their awareness of adhering to traffic safety laws.

The competition was conducted in two rounds: the preliminary round and the final round. The format included quick multiple-choice quizzes, questions with suggested answers, and public speaking segments on topics related to traffic culture.
