As of 9.30 am on 10 March, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world had jumped to 113,921. Confirmed cases in South Korean had exceeded 7,400. In total, 9,172 cases of the virus had been reported in Italy.

Viet Nam has reported 31 confirmed coronavirus cases till date. 16 among them have fully recovered from the infection, and have been discharged from hospital. The new cases in Viet Nam relate to a 26-year-old woman in Ha Noi who became the 17^th infected patient in the country. 

Meanwhile, Da Nang has recorded its first two cases of the new coronavirus, and the city has kept 49 people suspected of having the virus in isolation.
