As of 4.30 am on 27 April, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 3,003,889.
There was no new infection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Viet Nam on April 27, marking the 11th straight day in the country has seen no new Covid-19 cases through community infection, the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said. The number of Covid-19 cases in the country remains at 270, with 222 having recovered and no death, and eight tested positive again and returned to hospital for further treatment.
Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
