As of 10.30 pm on 23 May, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 5,303,992.

Viet Nam reported no new confirmed cases on Saturday morning, and the country has claimed no community cases for 37 straight days. According to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the country has remained unchanged in its case numbers at 324. Overall, 267 patients have recovered from the virus, and there have been no deaths till date.

Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
