As of 4.30 pm on 3 June, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 6,467,333.

The latest Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control update, released on Wednesday morning, there are no new cases of Covid-19 today, and there have been no signs of community transmission for 48 straight days since April 16. The country has remained unchanged in its case numbers at 328. In total, 188 of those confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival. Overall, 302 patients have recovered from the illness, and there have been no coronavirus deaths in Viet Nam till date.

Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
