Covid-19 updates on 4 June

As of 4.30 pm on 4 June, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 6,586,149.

No new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Viet Nam over a 24-hour period, data published by Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has shown. On Thursday morning, Viet Nam recorded no new infections, and there have been no signs of community transmission for 49 straight days since April 16. The country has remained unchanged in its case numbers at 328. On Wednesday, four more COVID-19 patients were given the all-clear and discharged from the Thai Binh General Hospital, bringing total recovered in Viet Nam to 302, equivalent to 92.1 percent of the total confirmed cases in the country.

Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
