Guidance for home-treatment COVID-19 patients to handle their potentially infectious waste

Currently, an upward trend in the number of COVID-19 cases on the daily basis leads to the necessity of focusing on sorting potentially infectious waste at confirmed cases' accommodation to avoid the high risk of infection and the safety of environmental sanitation workers. Accordingly, all waste generated by COVID-19 (F0) patients treated at home must be classified as infectious waste. The Da Nang Center for Disease Control has recently issued guidance for under-treatment-at-home COVID-19 patients to handle their potentially infectious waste as mentioned below.
